This resort is paradise on earth. Not only is the atmosphere and the amenities fantastic for a tropical lay back holiday, the hosts are the most welcoming and obliging we have encountered in over 50 years of traveling The beach side accommodation is spacey and comfortable and serviced with fresh sheets daily. The veranda is the perfect place to chill and watch the clear blue waves lap at your door. Dinning room menu changes daily and if you can’t find something that appeals then you are hard to please!

This was the trip that I needed and it didn't disappoint. From the moment we arrived (after such a chill 2.5 hour flight from Brisbane - Solomon Airlines is great BTW), we boarded the mini-bus and headed to the port where the boat picked us up for the 10 minute cross over to Aore Island Resort. The only minor blight on the travel was the unairconditioned wait in Vanuatu Customs, but it wasn't a huge deal.
